Whether you’re getting ready for the ring, throwing punches in the gym, or just hitting the heavy bag at home, you’ll always find your perfect pair with TITLE Boxing gloves. The first step in choosing the right gloves is determining what you’ll be using them for. Our gloves are divided into the following categories:
Bag Gloves: Built with the densest foam-padding, bag gloves are plush and sturdy, made to withstand punch after punch when you’re hitting the bag.
Sparring Gloves: Created for full contact with another fighter, sparring gloves are softer, offer more support and shock absorption, and feature extra safety details, like lace-up closures.
Training Gloves: Designed to be dual purpose, training gloves offer just the right amount of softness and protection to be used for punching bags, punching mitts, and in some cases, partner drills.
Weighted Gloves: Best for bag work and shadowboxing, weighted gloves are a powerhouse for conditioning, cardiovascular training, and muscle strengthening by adding resistance to every punch, making you a better, stronger fighter.
Lace-Up Gloves: Superior for safety and support, lace-up boxing gloves provide a classic, custom fit, that is a must for certain types of training, sparring, and when going toe-to-toe in the ring.
Competition Gloves: Constructed to be compliant with all major boxing commissions, competition gloves are “ring ready” and provide the best possible protection for you and your opponent.
MMA Gloves: Made to adapt to the unique movements of Mixed Martial Arts, MMA Gloves feature less foam padding than traditional boxing gloves, and an open design for full hand flexibility when grappling.
Find the Right Fit with TITLE Boxing
After finding your perfect pair of gloves, it’s time to find your perfect fit.
Gloves may come in sizes such as Small, Medium, Large, & Extra Large, and/or Youth, Regular, & Large, or in weights of 8 to 18 ounces.
In general, you’ll want to choose gloves that correspond with your weight class, and fit your measured hand circumference (measure around the palm, across the knuckles) following these guidelines:
Fighter Weight
Glove Size
Glove Weight
Hand Circumference
100 lbs and under
Youth
6 oz - 8 oz
5" - 6"
101 - 150 lbs
S - M (Regular)
10 oz - 12 oz
6" - 7.5"
151 - 175 lbs
L - XL (Large)
14 oz
7.25" - 8.5"
175 lbs +
XL - 2XL (Large)
16 oz - 18 oz
8.25" - 9.75"
For example, a fighter weighing 130 lbs with a hand circumference of 6” would fit small, medium, or regular-sized boxing glove, or a 10 - 12 oz boxing glove (depending on the type of sizing).
Yes, we offer a wide variety of kids and youth boxing gloves which are specially designed for smaller hands, with more padding for protection. Shop our collection of youth gloves here.
This depends on user preference and what the gloves are being used for. Velcro gloves are easier to put on and take off without help, which is great for training. Whereas lace-up gloves, which are typically used for sparring to replicate a pro fight glove, can provide a more secure fit and reduce the risk of scratching your sparring/training partner.
Boxing gloves are designed for different purposes, and this should always be considered, especially if you plan on sparring with a partner. However, if you’re a beginner looking for one set to get you started, a good pair of training gloves will likely do the trick, or consult your coach if you’re working with one, they’ll help you pick the best pair to suit your needs.
