Great leather And It Feels great

Had my first sparring match and got whooped, but I feel fine. I can confirm the headgear works great absorbing blows and doesn’t move around too much.

First off, right off the bat, it looks great. It feels great. The headgear definitely has a broken in feel as described. Though due to the broken in feel, it does give off the impression that it’s of cheap quality. But I have tested myself and will say that it’s a solid headgear. The padding in the front provides good protection and the cheek is just right so you can still see what’s going on while sparring. Although, it does slide around a bit (my head is small for reference), but with good head movement, it’s not a big issue. Now what I don’t like about this headgear is the strap underneath. It definitely gives off the old school vibes with its leather strap, but it’s too time consuming to try and find the hole. So, in my opinion, I think it’d be better if it’s a clip on instead of a buckle system. Plus, the leather strap looks flimsy, so I felt as though it could rip off at any given moment if I tug on it accidentally too hard. But it has survived so far.

amazing protection. love the color. a little bit of a tight fit but I have a bigger head an dreads so no complaints there overall great headgear.
