Many of us don't have the option of drilling into concrete to secure a cobra reflex bag. I have had 3 cobra bags and I have a system that works although will be more expensive. Buy a black rubber mat you would use at your front door. Cut it to fit around the base and secure it with duct tape. This will prevent metal from contacting your concrete floor which will significantly reduce noise. Buy 2 bags of play sand from a home improvement store. Cover the bags completely with black duct tape. Those will go on the top and bottom of the 4 sided base. I then purchased 4, 45lb bumper plates which I stacked on top of the sandbags. Bumper plates are expensive but quiet. I understand this raises the cost of the bag but you need a very considerable amount of weight in order to get the action you want and need. I hope this helps. Keep punching.
Reflex bag
Slower than a double end bag, but a nice tool to supplement double end and heavy bag work. Expensive, but fun to work with. Buy the anchor bags if you can't permanently mount it.
Perfect
Reflex Bag
Great workout tool, love the ability to dodge, bob, weave and come back with jabs and hooks. Works really good.
Awesome Bag with 1 Major Fault
I love this bag. Use it almost every day. It's nice that the foam ball has weight to it - it's great for training, but also just working out. I'd strongly recommend this, but note a few things: \n \n1) I have 2 45-lbs plates holding this down along with some sand anchors. So you need to be prepared with some weights to keep it down. \n \n2) They do not have replacement foam balls for this - which really sucks. You'd have to buy a whole new one at $300 for a new ball - which no one is going to do. After using this for almost 2 years, the ball is pretty warped. It's a real shame they don't offer replacements.
