This model isn't as big as you might like, but for the price it's a reasonable choice. It does give a nice test for the abs, back, arms, and wrists: you can start from your knees and build up to using it from a standing position. You may eventually want a bigger, sturdier model, but I think this one's great if you haven't tried one before and you have decent balance. My wife likes it, too, and has been using it every day--nice when you can get a gym tool that works well for more than one family member! If you're a larger person, you may want to start with a bigger, more expensive model; an ab wheel actually works, so you'll probably stick with it to make the purchase worthwhile.
